CiteLLM Check · Insurance
Coverage denial letter vs the policy
The insurer's own denial letter states a $5,000 limit. Its own endorsement raised it to $25,000.
About this demo
Society Insurance's April 2020 denial of a Chicago bar's COVID-19 business interruption claim, checked against the 117-page policy: every provision, quotation, form and limit. Both are exhibits in the lawsuit that followed.
How this demo was made
Both documents are real and unchanged: Exhibits 3 and 4 to the complaint in Kedzie Boulevard Cafe Inc. v. Society Insurance, No. 1:20-cv-02692 (N.D. Ill.). Nothing was planted. The assessments are Claude's, made with CiteLLM Check; CiteLLM located every quotation in the PDFs and checked every figure against them. Four of the five "no source" items are claim facts that only the claim file can confirm. The review above is CiteLLM Check's own viewer, as it opens in ChatGPT and Claude.
