Contract abstract vs the amendment
An abstract written at signing, checked against the agreement and its later amendment: 16 of 27 terms no longer hold.
About this demo
NEON Systems' 1996 software distribution agreement was rewritten by a 1999 amendment, but its key-terms abstract never was. Check ties each term to the clause that governs it now.
How this demo was made
The Distributor Agreement and its First Amendment are real SEC filings (Exhibit 10.5 to NEON Systems' 1999 Form S-1/A, via the CUAD dataset), unchanged. The abstract is a sample written for this demo from the base agreement alone, as an abstract written at signing would be; nothing else in it is wrong. The assessments are Claude's, made with CiteLLM Check; CiteLLM located every quotation in the two agreements. Each differing term quotes the amendment's clause and the base clause it replaced. The review above is CiteLLM Check's own viewer, as it opens in ChatGPT and Claude.
