CiteLLM is built for teams that have to show where every number came from, and who could see the file. This page covers what happens to the documents you send us.

Private to your account

When you sign in, each PDF is tied to your account. Nobody else can open it, even with its ID, and IDs and download links are long random values that can’t be guessed. Download and export links work once and expire within minutes. Sign in before you review confidential documents.

Deleted by default

PDFs and results are temporary and deleted 30 minutes after upload by default, or sooner if you ask your assistant to delete them.

Never used for training

We never use your documents to train AI models and never sell your data.

CiteLLM cloud: the shared service, with the protections on this page.

Dedicated: a single-tenant CiteLLM server for your company, run by us, with no document storage.

Your cloud: a private cloud deployment in your own AWS, Azure or on-premises environment, run by your team.
